After a distinguished career concentrating his practice in the defense of personal injury matters with emphasis on professional liability and malpractice, products liability, motor vehicle claims, premises liability, construction claims and insurance issues, Mr. Vanasek currently restricts his practice to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). He has extensive ADR experience in claims involving these areas and has been selected as an Arbitrator/Mediator/Neutral Evaluator on hundreds of occasions in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota and Oklahoma. He has a successful settlement rate in excess of 90% as a Mediator. He has been consistently selected by his peers as one of the top ADR Professionals based on a poll conducted by Minnesota Law & Politics and has been consistently selected as one of Minnesota's "Super Lawyers."

He is former Minnesota State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers and former President of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

He has been a CLE lecturer on successful ADR techniques.
