Darwin S. Williams is an associate with Jardine, Logan & O’Brien. Mr. Williams focuses his practice primarily on civil litigation, and assisting clients with general liability/negligence issues.

Prior to joining Jardine, Logan & O’Brien, Mr. Williams gained valuable experience as a law clerk to Judge Natalie E. Hudson of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He was also an ombudsman investigator, enforcing crime victim rights with the Minnesota Office of Justice Programs. During law school, Mr. Williams was a law clerk in the Office of the Hennepin County Attorney. He worked in three divisions: administration, civil, and child protection. As a member of the civil division, Mr. Williams gained experience in employment law and general civil litigation defense.

Before attending law school, Mr. Williams had a career with the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office. He was a supervisor of the Adult Detention Center, wrote policy and procedures, and trained new staff. As the accreditation manager, he was responsible for maintaining the facility’s accreditations with the American Correctional Association and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care.

Mr. Williams is currently the chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association Professionalism Committee. He is also an officer on the University of St. Thomas School of Law Alumni Advisory Board.
